Description
The former coffee plantation Reynsdorp (Bakkie) was once a flourishing coffee plantation and is located along the Matapicakreek in the district of Commewijne in the north of Suriname. The descendants of the plantation owners have excavated the Warappa Creek and transformed the old plantation into a small and cozy resort.
During the excavation of the creek, old bottles and other artefacts were found. These were of such historical value that a special museum was set up for this collection. This museum was given the name: Museum Bakkie. During the day tour to Bakkie you will relive the past of one of the most authentic plantations in a unique way.

Storm/bad weather:
The tour company reserves the right to cancel the trip/tour at any time before the time of departure in case of unforeseeable weather conditions. The activity/tour will be rescheduled for another date.
In case of cancellation between the 14th and 7th day before departure, a 50% refund will be honored.
In case of cancellation 6 days or less before departure, unfortunately no refund will be honored.
