What does a 2-day tour in Suriname cost?
Prices range from € 145 for the Brownsberg & Ston Island combination tour by Jungle Resort Pingpe to € 248 for the 2-day Galibi arrangement at Urusji Lodge. In between are Brownsberg & Ston Island (€ 198) and the Coesewijne kayak trip (€ 210). Prices are per person and include transport, guide, accommodation and meals.
Where do you sleep on a two-day tour?
That differs considerably. At Galibi you stay at Urusji Lodge on the coast. The Coesewijne kayak trip is deliberately back-to-basic: you sleep in a tent or hammock, without luxury. On the Brownsberg tours you stay inside the nature park.
What time do you leave, and from where?
The Brownsberg & Ston Island combination tour picks you up around 7.30 am in central Paramaribo. The Coesewijne kayak trip departs daily; the Galibi tour travels via Moengo and Albina towards the border with French Guiana.
Is there a minimum group size?
Yes, most two-day tours have one. The Coesewijne kayak trip requires four people. For the other tours we will check current availability for you.
Is there an age limit?
The Coesewijne kayak trip has a minimum age of 16, given the nature of the trip. The Brownsberg tours have no such limit.
Two days or three?
On a two-day trip a large share of your time goes into travelling there and back. If you want a full day on location, choose a 3-day tour. The Galibi arrangement can also be booked as a three-day trip.
