This trip is truly unique because of the unparalleled mix of adventure and nature it offers. With jungle walks, wildlife spotting, a visit to the village of Powaka and morning SUP boarding, we promise an experience you wonβt find anywhere else. During this relaxing trip you will camp on a luxury glamping.
What we like about this tour is that you can make it as relaxed or as active as you want. The tour is suitable for young and old and is definitely one for your bucket list.
Program
The journey begins with a short introduction with a cup of coffee before leaving for the interior, with sights along the way such as the old Suralco factory and an indigenous village. We stop at the house of Mr. 'Kleine' in Powakka for an introduction to the indigenous culture and local specialties. Here you can get started with the local products under the guidance of 'Kleine' and taste indigenous beer and freshly baked cassava. Upon arrival at Seliba River Glamping you have the opportunity to participate in optional activities such as a paddle tour or a walk with the guide to spot wildlife. After lunch on the 2nd day you start your return journey to Paramaribo.

Hat or cap: So that you can protect your face from the tropical sun.
Long pants and long sleeve shirt: To protect you from insects and irritating plants.
Good walking shoes: For protection of your feet and for long walks.
Sunscreen: For protection against the sun.
Mosquito repellent: To protect you from insect bites during the tour.
Backpack: For use during the walk to store personal belongings.
Flashlight/Headlamp: A flashlight or headlamp is useful for lighting during evening activities or in dark areas.
Toiletries: Personal care products such as toothpaste, soap and shampoo for hygiene on the go.
Camera & Fully Charged Batteries: A camera is essential to capture the beautiful surroundings. Make sure the batteries are fully charged so you donβt miss any memorable moments.
Raincoat/ poncho: For unexpected showers.
Waterproof bag for electronics and securities: In case you want to keep these items safe.
Swimwear: Bring swimwear for swimming and refreshments.
Towel (for swimming areas): A towel comes in handy for swimming activities or for drying yourself off after water adventures.
Reading material: So that you can relax with a good book.
Storm/bad weather:
The tour company has the right to cancel the trip/tour at any time before departure in case of unforeseeable weather conditions. The activity/tour will be scheduled for another date.
In case of cancellation between the 14th and 7th day before departure, a 50% refund will be honored.
In case of cancellation 6 days or less before departure, unfortunately no refund will be honored.
