Plantation Alliance – Historic Plantation & Citrus Groves (Suriname)
After the abolition of slavery, contract workers from China, India and Indonesia came to Suriname. On plantation Alliance, the Hindustani and Javanese culture is still strongly present. The former sugar plantation is now one of the largest citrus groves in Suriname.
On this tour, you’ll be guided around the historic plantation, taste the sweet oranges that grow here, and get to know the residents and their heritage. A relaxed, informative experience where history, culture and nature come together.

For last-minute bookings requested less than 24 hours before the transfer, there is a surcharge of €15 per booking. This surcharge is necessary because we have to schedule a driver and vehicle at short notice.
