Jungle Resort Pingpe – 4-day Tour Back-to-Basic (Suriname)

Experience the untouched jungle and experience the authentic culture of Upper Suriname during this four-day Back-to-Basic tour to Jungle Resort Pingpe. From Paramaribo you travel by bus to Atjoni (approx. 2.5 hours) and by dugout canoe in about 3.5 hours over the Upper Suriname River to the resort. Unique to this tour is the Back-to-Basic Experience: you will spend two days deep in the untouched jungle. In about four hours, you will walk — depending on the pace of the group — to a large creek, while the guide talks about the flora, fauna and the uses of the forest. At the creek you spend the night in a hammock with mosquito net in a simple camp. You can fish, learn about medicinal plants, bathe in the sula, or relax in the hammock — and in the evening, you might eat your own caught Anjoemara, while listening to the sounds of the jungle.

Price

€ 380 per person (per bus-canoe-bus). Travelling by plane is possible on request.
