When you arrive at our school, the first thing you should do is take out your flip flops and anything heavy and hot! We welcome you happily and make sure you fill out the necessary paperwork, store your luggage (in lockers) and prepare for the lesson! You will be provided with water shoes and a life jacket if you need it. First we give you a short explanation and demonstration on the beach about the wind, the sail, the boom, the mast and your board. Then we start with small exercises. We teach you and let you practice at the same time, so your sessions are short to make sure you master all the basic skills! You will learn how to hold your sail, how to position your feet and hands, and how to turn. We combine theory with practice, because the wind lets you feel how you can influence your direction by steering! In the second hour of your lesson you will practice independently under our supervision. If you need help, we’re here, but you’ll enjoy that time to yourself to practice everything you’ve learned! When you’re ready, you can tell us about your experience while relaxing on the beach! This is a private lesson for a maximum of 1 or 2 people, so couples can go together.
