Description
The former coffee plantation Reynsdorp (Bakkie) was once a thriving coffee plantation and is located along the Matapica Creek in the Commewijne district of the same name in the north of Suriname. The descendants of the plantation owners have excavated the Warappa Creek and transformed the old plantation into a small and cozy resort.
During the excavation of the creek, old bottles and other artifacts were found. These were of such historical value that a museum was set up especially for this collection. This Museum was given the name: Museum Bakkie. During the day tour to Bakkie you will relive the past of one of the most authentic plantations in a unique way.

Mosquito Milk: To protect you from insect bites during the tour.
Sunscreen: For protection from the sun.
Backpack: For when hiking to store personal items.
Small change SRD: Small change is useful for local purchases, drinks, and souvenirs.
Waterproof bag serving electronics and valuables: In case you want to keep these items safe.
Storm/bad weather:
The tour company reserves the right at any time before the time of departure, to cancel the trip/ tour in case of unforeseeable weather conditions. The activity/ tour will be rescheduled on another date.
If cancelled between the 14th and the 7th day before departure, a 50% refund will be honored.
If cancelled 6 days or less before departure, unfortunately no refund will be honored.
