Our first stop is the Aloe Vera Museum and the Factory. Aloe first became known in 1840 in Aruba and quickly became an important part of Aruba’s history. Aruba has been the largest exporter of Aloe in the world throughout history with no less than two-thirds of the island covered with plants. You’ll have the chance to take a guided tour of the high-tech Aruba Aloe Factory and learn more about its history at the museum next to the factory.
