Air Explorer & 360 Views (Sint Maarten)

Categories:

Every adventure begins in this restored plantation house originally built in the 1700s. The Museum tells the powerful story of Trace Wilson, who was born a slave on the grounds in 1818, and her direct descendant Emilio Wilson. You’ll see views of what life was like on a plantation and learn about the customs, traditions, lifestyle, and stories that earned Sint Maarten the nickname “The Friendly Island.”
Board the Sky Explorer for the roughly 25-minute drive to the top of Sentry Hill; one of St. Maarten’s highest elevations at 1,125 feet. The experience includes two chairlifts as well as a series of platforms that surround the top of the mountain and offer 360-degree views of the island, including views of the neighboring islands of Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts, and Anguilla. When you’re ready to descend, simply hop into the Sky Explorer for the scenic drive down.
After your fun-filled adventure, souvenirs and attraction photos are available for purchase in the gift shop. Nestled between authentic antique colonial walls, Emilio’s Restaurant offers a menu of classic favorites with a new twist. Food and drinks are available to purchase.
