This trip is truly unique because of the unparalleled blend of adventure and nature it offers. With jungle walks, animal spotting, a visit to the village of Powaka and morning SUP boarding, we promise an experience you won’t find anywhere else. During this relaxing trip, you will camp at a luxury glamping site.
What we love about this tour is that you can make it as relaxed or active as you like. The tour is suitable for young and old and is definitely one for your bucket list.
Program
The trip begins with a brief introduction with a cup of coffee before departing for the interior, with sights along the way including the old Suralco factory and an Indigenous village. We stop at the home of Mr. “Little” in Powakka for an introduction to Indigenous culture and local specialties. Here you can work with the local products yourself under the guidance of “Kleine” and taste Indigenous beer and freshly baked cassava. Arriving at Seliba River Glamping you will have the opportunity in optional activities such as padle tour or walk with the guide to spot wildlife. After lunch the on the 2nd day you will begin your return trip to Paramaribo.

Notice: there is no Wifi during this tour.
Hat or cap: So that you can protect your face from the tropical sun.
Long pants and long sleeve shirt: To protect you from insects and irritating plants.
Good hiking boots: For protection of your feet and for during long walks.
Sunscreen: For protection from the sun.
Mosquito Milk: To protect you from insect bites during the tour.
Backpack: For when hiking to store personal items.
Flashlight/headlamp: A flashlight or headlamp is useful for illumination during evening activities or in dark areas.
Toiletries: Personal care products such as toothpaste, soap and shampoo for hygiene on the go.
Camera & well-charged batteries: A camera is indispensable for capturing the beautiful surroundings. Make sure the batteries are fully charged so you don’t miss any memorable moments.
Raincoat/poncho: For unexpected showers.
Waterproof bag serving electronics and valuables: In case you want to keep these items safe.
Swimwear: Bring swimwear for swimming opportunities and refreshment.
Towel (for swimming activities): A towel comes in handy during swimming activities or to dry yourself off after water adventures.
Reading material: So you can relax with a good book.
Storm/bad weather:
The tour company has the right at any time before the departure time, to cancel the trip/ tour in case of unforeseeable weather conditions. The activity/ tour will be rescheduled on another date.
For cancellation between the 14th and the 7day before departure, a 50% refund will be honored.
For cancellations 6 days or less before departure, unfortunately no refunds will be honored.
