We depart from Paramaribo at 8.00 am and drive to Groningen, the capital of the Saramacca district. Here we will make our first stop and visit the smallest square with the most monuments of Suriname’s multicultural history. The guide will inform you about these monuments and you will take a walk in the area.
Coronie District

In Coronie we will make our second stop. You will see the beautiful and unique houses and the different coconut palms. This district is known for its coconut trees. Here we also make a lunch break at one of the restaurants.
Nickerie District

After lunch, the journey continues to Nickerie. Along the way you will see the rice fields, for which Nickerie is known.
We arrive at Residence Inn where you will spend the night.
After checking in, we take a walk in Nieuw Nickerie, the capital of Nickerie. We visit Zeedijk and enjoy a beautiful sunset.
