The black light would work, but due to the physical properties of water, the specific wavelength of our blue light has better results. To get the best results, something needs to take the blue out of the light that reflects off what you’re looking at. That’s why we wear a visor that covers our masks. This visor has a specific yellow color that takes out the blue and leaves only the fluorescent colors.

Never done landsailing before? No problem. No experience necessary. Bonaire has the perfect conditions and we have the ideal location. Sailing with a blokart is super easy to learn. We’ll give you a 10-minute lesson to make sure you have the most fun during your time on the trail. This activity is for everyone because you determine the speed. Those who want to take it easy and enjoy a relaxing wind-powered sailing trip can do so, and those who want a good dose of adrenaline will also have fun. We have two shadow (double) blokarts available, so that small children (ages 3-8) or older parents can ride in the “sidecar”. No excuses not to join as we recently welcomed a 91-year-old lady who experienced landsailing on our course. Children aged 8 and over can sail solo (depending on wind conditions).

Rincon Village is the oldest village on Bonaire and rich in history. It is also the oldest community within the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. Initially populated by the Spanish in the early 1500s, Rincon was strategically located in a valley to ward off imminent danger from pirates and other threats.
In the 17th century, slaves were brought to Bonaire and worked on the farmland and the salt pans until 1863. Deep in Rincon lived the slave men who made a 7-hour journey south for work and returned on weekends to gather supplies at Mangazina di Rei (the king’s storehouse) and visit their families.
