Refund & Cancellation Policy
Overview
Our cancellation and refund period is 30 days before the start of the booked trip. Unfortunately, if there are less than 30 days remaining until the scheduled departure date, we can no longer guarantee a full refund.
To be eligible for a refund, the trip or tour must be be cancelled in writing via email, indicating the booking details. The cancellation date is effective from the time we receive your email.
Non-refundable situations
The following situations are not eligible for refund:

Travel cancelled within 14 days prior to departure

Trips already started or completed

Customized trips or exclusive packages where costs have already been incurred

Gift certificates or vouchers

Non-appearance (“no-show”) on the day of departure
Partial refunds
In certain cases, we may offer a partial refund granted:

Cancellation between 29 and 15 days before departure: up to 50% refunddepending on booking fees incurred

Cancellation within 14 days, only in cases of force majeure (at the discretion of Blue Bird Tours & Travel)

Travel where third parties (e.g. hotels, airlines) provide only partial refunds
Refund Procedure
Once your cancellation is received and reviewed, we will notify you by email of the approval or disapproval of your refund request. If approved, we will process your refund via the same payment method used for your original booking within a few business days.
Delayed or missing refunds
Not received a refund yet? Then check:

Your bank account or credit card statement again

Contact your bank or card company – processing may take several days

Offers & promotions
Trips booked with a promotion or discount can in principle be not refundable, unless otherwise agreed.
Change instead of cancel?
We are happy to think with you. In many cases we can move your booking free of charge to another date or modify it, subject to availability.
